The Events Sustainability Roadmap offers event planners a helping hand to lead you along the sustainability road, one step at a time. It’ll be pain free, and help navigate you through the sometimes overwhelming area of sustainability. Before you know it you'll be well on your way, and heading straight for improved sustainability performance across your event.
The first step is to sign up to the Sustainable Event Alliance. You can then sign up to the Events Sustainability Roadmap program. By signing up to the Sustainable Event Alliance you will gain access to a huge range of resources and information on best practice, international standards, as well as access to the s.Venue and s.Supplier databases. It will also link you into the sustainable events community around the world.
Once you have joined the SEA, and agreed to the membership charter, you then need to sign up to the Events Sustainability Roadmap. Joining the Roadmap is free for SEA members. Then get on the road! (Note: If you're already using one of the endorsed programs, you don't need to use the roadmap in order to use our SEA Membership Logo).
Once you have joined the SEA, agreed to our membership charter, signed up to the Roadmap program, and have begun actioning sustainable steps you will be eligible to use the SEA membership logo in association with your event. This logo is an acknowledgment of your commitment to improved sustainability performance. Once you have completed the required first steps, you'll be emailed the logo to use.
